1991 Skiff Craft 26' Runabout & Trailer $20,900

It is hard to mistake a Skiff Craft from just about anything else as it glides past on the water.  The classic clipper bow, red mahogany windshield frame contrasting against the white hull-sides and deck, and the long expanse of cockpit space aft of the windshield frame all immediately announce that a Skiff Craft is coming. Completely hand built by traditional Amish and Mennonite craftsmen, these boats were built extremely solid to handle the harsh waters of the Great Lakes as they were originally designed to take commercial fishermen out for a day's catch and return them home safely.  These hulls evolved into the pleasure craft market in the 1950s and have become heirlooms to many families over the decades.

This 26' Runabout was purchased new on Lake Minnetonka and has remained there within the original family ever since.  It has a custom seating design which lends itself well for entertaining and for bringing the conversation forward to include the captain.  It is powered by a 5.7 Liter Volvo Penta Duo-Prop, the engine was rebuilt a few years back and has maybe 500 hours on it.  Features include: Stereo, depthfinder, compass, 12 volt accessory power outlet at the helm, trim tabs, remote spotlight, dual electric trumpet horns, mahogany opening windshield frame, windshield wipers, dual fuel tanks (52 gallons total), full mahogany interior package, cockpit ice box, custom factory seating (port side companion seat with reversible backrest and storage area below, port and starboard inward facing benches with storage below and full-width aft bench with storage below), in-floor storage locker, forward cuddy with v-berth and concealed porta-potty, convertible sun top, cockpit cover, mahogany aft rail, mahogany stern flag pole with flag, 3/4 width mahogany swim platform, folding four step mahogany swim ladder, stainless steel aft lifting ring/water sports towing point, and tandem axle bunk trailer with surge brakes.
